Everyone is invited to enter our writing contests, listed below. Some contests are members only. Entry fees are $5 per entry for members and $10 per entry for nonmembers, no entry limit. Winners will be published in our 2024 anthology and 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners receive cash prizes.
Anthologies are usually published in the following Spring.

Want your submitted work critiqued by the contest judge? For an additional $10 fee you can!

*SW can not promise you will like or agree with the critique you receive. Some judges are detailed and some are not.

Word counts are determined solely by Microsoft Word exclusive of title.

Topic Description: The Write Season is a chance to write about your favorite season from earth's seasons to life's seasons! From hardships to beautifully treasured moments. From a blizzard to an amazing spring day--or a 100 degree with humidity day! Don't forget your favorite sports season! Maybe that baseball game was played on the hottest day of the year or you watched the chiefs win the Superbowl in the winter during a darn good season in you life! :-). 
Remember our school days and our mindsets? Then how we aged and life took on a new meaning. Or how about retirement? (I hear its great!) Life has Many Write Seasons and Saturday Writers wants your stories!​
